General Information Downtown Dogs Daycare is excited to announce the recent partnership with the Arizona Partnership K9 Academy! We are fortunate to have the expertise of the trainers at AZ Partnership K-9 who have trained thousands of canines over the past 10 years. In addition, John Sievila, owner and operator, recently published his first book, “The Dog Redeemer” which is included as part of our group dog training. This book can also be found on Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble Book Stores. For more information on AZ Partnership, click their logo below to be directed to their website.
Class Information Our methodology incorporates positive reinforcement based canine training while establishing you as the Alpha in charge. Based on Alpha principles and as benevolent leaders we never use treats, clickers, or pain avoidance (e.g. pinch collars, shock collars, or prong collars) techniques in our training programs.
We teach best practice behavior modification and training techniques while preaching the three C’s; Calm, Confidence, and consistency when interacting with our canines. Training should be more than just teaching your dog to do “tricks” on command and is necessary to create a safe, respectful pack within your home. While this is a group class, we will be able to tackle any issues that arise as we will have 3 certified trainers there at all times.

All classes include 8 hours of group training broke out over 5 Saturdays, DVD and book. The cost is $250 with the bulk of the proceeds benefiting various rescue organizations.
