Testimonials

I am the proud companion of my two dogs, Flynn, a nine year old Scottish Terrier, and Oliver, 2 year old poodle mix.   Flynn is a pretty well balanced dog, loves to socialize with people and dogs. Oliver, being that he was a stray, was afraid of everything!  Noise, other dogs, and even birds.

That's where Downtown Dogs Daycare came into the picture.  When I picked up the dogs at the end of their play day, Gina would give me a update on how the boys were doing and suggestions on things to do with Oliver to help him gain confidence.  After a few months with Oliver getting somewhat better I decided to enroll Oliver in basic obedience training at Downtown Dogs Daycare. Those five weeks of training and the weekly play day at Downtown Dogs have given me a confident, smart and loving Oliver.  Flynn has become a younger dog.  He is more playful at home and seems much happier.  He acts like a three year old!

They even know when it is Thursday!

Thank you Gina and Downtown Dogs for helping and guiding me to having happier dogs!  Jeanne D., Chandler, AZ

In the 7 months that Buster has been coming to daycare and after completing the basic training class, he has been much more calm, social, and his destructive behavior (chewing) has lessened considerably.  Our 12 year-old dog Eddie loves going to daycare as well!  I highly recommend it! Xena and Alistair are both rescue dogs.  Xena had been abused and was afraid of people and other dogs.  Alistair had severe health problems as a puppy, and as he grew large and healthy, he became a little bossy.  Working with a trainer and coming to Downtown Dogs Daycare has made all the difference in the world.  Xena and Alistair have both developed confidence and are very comfortable being around dogs and people.  As a result of the training and daycare, both are better behaved at home and in public.  They love the days they spend in daycare.  I look at it as an excellent investment.  Gina and her staff are wonderful! I started taking the pups to daycare when my work hours picked up quite a bit. I felt very guilty about all the time that Frankie and Georgie had to spend home alone.  Downtown Dogs really eases the guilt, and provides the dogs with exercise, socialization and a day of fun.  The pups love coming to play with Gina and their doggie friends.  They are so thrilled every Wednesday when instead of going into their crates, they get to go in the car with me to "work".

Georgie is a rambunctious, playful girl who loves all dogs, so she took to the daycare thing right away.  Frankie is a little more reserved and a mama's boy, so he took a little longer to warm up.  Gina reports that he has improved dramatically and is now even initiating play with the other dogs.  I am thrilled with how much the dogs enjoy going to daycare and I'm even more pleased that they aren't at home every day being bored and sad. Thanks, Gina!
